Ingredients:  
1 chicken cut up, or 8 thighs
28 oz can of tomatoes
Small can of tomato paste
1 c sliced mushrooms
1 small onion, chopped
1 tsp minced garlic or 1/2 tsp garlic powder
3/4 c white wine or sherry
Italian seasoning to taste
1 bay leaf

Directions:
Directions:
Place chicken in crock pot. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over chicken.
Cook on High for about 4 hours.
At end of cooking, add salt and pepper to taste. Skim fat off top of pot.
Mix 1 T cornstarch and 2 T water. Stir into crock pot to thicken sauce.
Serve with pasta.
