12 ounces long-grain wild rice
2 medium onions, sliced
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green peppers
1 cup chopped mushrooms
1/4 pound butter
1/2 cup sliced water chestnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook rice according to directions on package. Saute onions, celery, peppers, and mushrooms in butter until soft and add water chestnuts (optional). Mix with rice.

Makes 6 servings.
