2 c dark brown sugar
1/2 lb butter
2 eggs
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cream of tartar
4 c flour
1 t vanilla
1 c nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time, sift soda, and cream of tartar with flour. Fold in flour and add flavoring and 1 cup nuts. Drop on baking sheet with t as butter is very thick and will spread. Bake to golden brown.
