1 C all purpose flour
C whole wheat flour
3 tsp baking powder
3 Tb sugar
tsp salt
1 beaten egg
1 C milk
2 Tb oil

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
Combine egg, milk and salad oil; add to dry ingredients.
Stir just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Bake on hot griddle. Makes about 12 dollar size pancakes or 8 4 inch pancakes.

This was a favorite breakfast dish for the boys. It doesn't make a whole lot, but was sufficient when they were young. You may have to double the recipe for a hearty supply.
