1 lb. Ground Beef
2 T. Butter
Salt/Pepper
1 can Whole Tomatoes
1 medium Onion
1/2 Green Pepper
1 1/3 cup Rice (cooked)
1 t. Durkees Famous Sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the butter in a large skillet.
Add the beef and cook til lightly brown.
Season with Salt and Pepper.
Add sliced onion and chopped green pepper.
Add cooked rice, tomatoes and mustard sauce.
Mix well and bring to boil.
Reduce heat and let simmer another 5 minutes, uncovered.

From Mom Moore's Family Cookbook. The original recipe calls for Durkee's Famous Sauce, which might be famous in the USA but not in Asia. We use English Mustard. We also use a red pepper in place of the green pepper for a sweeter taste. We have also added beans to this dish. This can be cooked ahead and reheated when needed.
