1 c. catsup
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c. Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 c. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp chopped onion
1 clove garlic minced
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. chili powder
pepper to taste
1 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. vinegar
1/4 c. liquid smoke
1 large chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 celery stalk, chopped
1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1 Tbsp. pepper

1 8-10 lb. beef brisket
1/4 c. water
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour

Directions:
Combine first 12 ingredients išn a large saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat, and strain.

Combine 1 cup strained catsup mixture (reserving remainder of strained mixture to be used in the barbecue sauce), vegetable oil, 1/2 c. vinegar, liquid smoke, onion, garlic, celery, mustard, and 1 Tbsp. pepper. Mix well and set aside.

Place brisket, fat side up, in cooking bag. Pour vegetable oil mixture over brisket. Force air from bag, seat and cut a slit in top of bag, Place in a large shallow pan. Marinate in refrigerator 1 - 3 days.

Bake at 175š for 27 hours.
