Ingredients:
2 cups ketchup
1/8-1/4 cup Tabasco sauce
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup Jack Daniel's whiskey
1/4 cup molasses
2 Tbsp dark brown sugar
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp liquid smoke

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a deep, heavy, nonreactive saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat slightly and simmer the sauce, uncovered, until thick and richly flavored, 15 to 20 minutes. Correct the seasoning, adding any ingredient you fancy. Use right away or transfer to jars, cover, cool to room temperature, and refrigerate. The sauce will keep for several months. Makes about 3 cups.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Start brushing the sauce on the barbecue chicken or pork during the last 10 minutes of cooking. Brush it again once the meat is cooked. Transfer the remaining sauce to a bowl or squirt bottle and serve it with the meat on the table.
