2¼ cups unsifted flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
1 cup butter (2 sticks softned)
¾ cup sugar
¾ brown sugar (I use dark brown sugar)
1 t. vanilla
2 eggs
1 pkg Nestlé Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (12 oz. or 2 cups)
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside. In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla; beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by well round teaspoon (use larger spoon for larger cookies). Bake for 10-12 minutes.

This is the recipe I always baked for the family at Christmas and the beach. *You can make this into a 9x13 pan cookie. Bake for 12-15 minutes at 375 degrees.
