⅓ C butter, softened
12 slices bread, or French loaf cut in slice
½ tsp garlic salt
3 Tb grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
• Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
• Cut each slice in half.
• Place plain side down on a baking sheet.
• Sprinkle with garlic salt and Parmesan cheese.
• Broil 4 inches from the heat for 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned.

Food will burn quickly when broiled. Leave the oven door open a little while cooking. Watch closely.

You may also use hot dog buns instead of French bread. It is a great way to use buns that may be left over.
