Base layer:
1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups flour
4 eggs (lightly beaten)

Top layer:
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup flour
2 lemons - juice and grated rind
(note: grate the rind of while the lemon is whole and then juice it)

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350

Base layer:
Cream together butter and sugar
Add eggs and then stir in the flour
Bake at 350 for 20 minutes

Lemony layer:
Whisk together and then layer on top of base

Bake for 20 minutes
