1 1/2 cups milk, scalded
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 packages yeast
1/4 cup warm water
4-6 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk, then add shortening, sugar and salt. Let cool.

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Beat eggs. Mix eggs with milk and yeast mixture. Add 3 - 4 cups flour 1 cup at at time. When flour is almost absorbed pour dough out onto floured surface. Knead to soft ball (will be slightly sticky). Put in oiled bowl and cover with towel. Let rise one hour or until doubled.

Punch down down. Shape into rolls and place on greased baking pan, close together but barely touching. Let rise 30 more minutes until doubled.

Bake at 375º for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
