1 c. whole-wheat flour
1 c. cornmeal
4 tsp. baking powder
¼ c. butter
¼ c. honey
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Bake in a 350º oven for 20-30 minutes. Variation: Use white flour, replace the butter with oil, replace the honey with 1/3 cup sugar and the milk with 1¼ cup buttermilk. Note: For times when you are in a hurry multiply all the dry ingredients by 8 times and use butter and cut it in. Store in a plastic container. To make a 9” x 9” pan of cornbread use 2½ cups Mix and add 2 eggs and 1 cup milk. Use 2½ cups of this mix in place of Jiffy mix in recipes. You can use half white flour and half whole-wheat if you like.
