⅔ c. dry bread crumbs
1 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten
c. onion, grated
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sage
1 lb. ground beef
lb. sausage
c. catsup
3 TB brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
tsp. nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix bread crumbs, milk, eggs, onion, salt and sage thoroughly. Mix in ground beef and sausage until worked in well. Shape and place into a loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Remove from oven. (Topping:) Combine catsup, brown sugar, mustard and nutmeg. Mix well and spread topping over meat loaf. Continue baking another 25 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
