Pie Crust and Crumbs Recipe

18 cups flour (5 lbs. plus 1 cup.
1 (3 lb.) can Crisco
3 T. Salt

12 cups flour
2 T. Salt
4-3/4 cups crisco

Add salt to flour and mix.
Add crisco and blend.
Store in cupboard until ready to use.
Measure approximately 1 cup crumbs per pie.
Add just enough water to moisten crumbs.
Roll out for pie.

Crumbs for topping for fruit, Apple or berry pie.
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
1/3 cup shortening
Blend as for pie crust .
Place on top of pie filling and bake until golden brown.

Mother made this pie crust up and would give me a crisco can of it for Christmas. It will keep in your cupboard for a year.
