3 sticks butter (unsalted)
6 lrg. eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
½ tsp. baking powder
8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
3 c. sugar
3 c. sifted flour

Directions:
Cream butter and cream cheese. Add 6 eggs one a time, beating well after each. Mix in half of sugar, mixing well. Add rest of sugar and mix well. MIx in vanilla extract. Gradually mix in flour and baking pwd. Spoon batter into a greased and floured bundt pan. Slice knife through to release air.

Put in cold oven. Turn to 325º. Do not preheat. Bake 1½ hour.

This is a dense flavorful pound cake. Can serve with strawberries, or with raspberry sauce. A friend made this recipe and found it in a Philidelphia Cream Cheese cook book.
