Ingredients:  
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda (dissolve in milk)
c. butter, melted
1 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
c. mini semisweet chocolate chips or pecan pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Mix all dry ingredients first. Then add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Use baking cups or grease muffin pans. Fill cups to full and bake for 14 to 20 minutes.

*may refrigerate batter a week or so and bake as needed
*this is supposed to be a pecan muffin recipe but Ive always subbed out the pecans for chocolate chips
