1 dark chocolate cake mix
1 c. milk
c. oleo
1 T. vanilla
2 T. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
c. shortening

1 stick margarine, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
3 pkg. unsweetened chocolate squares
1 c. powdered sugar

Prepare cake mix as directed. Put in a 13x9 pan and bake. Let cool.
Cook cornstarch and milk until thick. Let cool.
When cool, add sugar and margarine; beat until fluffy, then add vanilla. Beat 1 more minute and spread on cake.

Mix melted margarine and unsweetened chocolate squares; cook until chocolate is melted.
Then add vanilla and powdered sugar. Beat and then spread on cake.
Keep refrigerated.
