32 ounces of chicken broth
carrots(8 ounces/half bag), celery(2 stalks), onion chopped
4 chicken breasts, 6 if they are small


For dumplings- you can use Bisquick,but I prefer making my own(I cup flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp white sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, mixed together, cut in 1 tbs butter, add 1/2 cup milk) add parsley to dumplings
salt and pepper to taste

First cooked the chicken in broth with onions, celery and carrots in instant pot for 10 minutes QRP(quick release pressure). If the chicken is frozen, cook for 12 minutes, natural pressure release. Remove the lid and place pot on saute and added dumplings little by little. Took about 5 minutes to be done. Add salt and pepper to taste! Absolutely delicious!!!

You can also throw in some extra veggies -- frozen peas or mixed veggies would be great. Raw veggies should be cooked in the broth with the chicken, frozen can be stirred in while the pot is on saute before you drop in the dumplings.

If you don't have an Instant Pot, you can make this on the stovetop. Allow a couple of hours.
