2 pounds raw chestnut

Method #1:cut a slit down the center of each chestnut. Put in pot and cover with water. Boil for 20 minutes. Leave in water until your ready to eat it. Peel and eat

Method #2: Cut a slit down the center of each chestnut. Roast on 425 for 15-20 minutes

Tip!
Chestnut cream
3 cup purée chestnuts
4 tbsp confection sugar
Pinch of salt
1 tbsp vanilla sugar
⅛ parve dessert whip
Add sugar if desired
