1 pound of ground beef
1 pound of ground pork
2-15.5 oz. cans of kidney beans
1-28oz. can of plum tomatoes
2 large onions, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
4 celery stalks chopped
3 cloves of garlic, chopped
3 tablespoons of chili powder

2 tablespoons of sugar
2 tablespoons of crushed red pepper
3 tablespoons of wine vinegar
1 tablespoon of ground cumin
Shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack Cheese
Sour Cream

In a 4 qt. pot, brown the beef and pork, drain off fat. Cut up tomatoes. Add the undrained beans and tomatoes to the mixture. Add the onions, green peppers, celery, chili powder, sugar, red peppers, vinegar and cumin. Cover and simmer for one hour, stirring frequently. Ladle into bowls.
