½ cup Crisco
⅓ cup peanut butter
½ light brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
1 egg
1½ cups flour
½ teaspoon soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º
Line cookie sheet with parchment paper
Bake about 8 minutes, or until barely brown

Whisk together flour, soda, baking powder, and salt.

Cream Crisco, peanut butter, and sugars; add egg.

Gradually add dry ingredients to the bowl.

Form 1 tablespoon of dough into ball; repeat.

Use a fork to flatten, leaving the mark of the fork tines.

Cool on a wire rack.
