1 stick soft butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda together.

Mix better, sugar, and eggs until smooth. Blend dry ingredients alternating with buttermilk.

Then add boiling water. Batter will be thin.

Bake 350º for 25 - 30 minutes.

Be sure to give the toothpick test.
