4c w sugar
4c vinegar
1tsp nutmeg
1tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/4tsp ginger:
for each pint put 1/2tsp salt on top( pickling salt) if doing quarts put 1tsp salt(pickling)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix vinegar,spices and sugar together and bring to a boil and let simmer for 5min then pour over beets that you have packed in your jars,cover with juice wipe off jar and put lids on tight and shake to dissolve  salt,.
Done. I wait until next day and take things off and wipe around jar and put lid back on .
