1 cup butter softened
Or butter flavored shortening
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups flour
2 cups oatmeal
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
cup milk
2 cups raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375F

Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.

Add vanilla and eggs. Mix well.

Add flour, oatmeal, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.

Add milk. Mix well.

Add raisins. Mix well.

Drop by rounded teaspoons onto cookie sheet. Bake for 10 12 minutes.


Tip:
Store in airtight container with a small piece of bread to keep cookies soft.
