2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ cup butter
¾ cup orange juice
1 egg – slightly beaten
1 cup chopped cranberries
½ cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Grease bottom of 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.

Mix dry ingredients.

Using a pastry blender, mix in butter.

Stir in orange juice and egg. Mix just until dry ingredients are wet.

Stir in cranberries and walnuts. Mix just until blended.

Pour batter into pan and bake for 60 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.

Cool for 10 minutes in pan and then remove and finish cooling on rack.
