1 cup flour
1 cup cornmeal
¼ cup sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoons salt
1 cup milk
¼ cup butter – melted
1 egg – slightly beaten
1 small can cream-style corn

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425ºF

Grease bottom of cast-iron skillet or a 9-inch square pan.

In medium bowl combine dry ingredients.
Stir in wet ingredients just until barely smooth.

Pour into pan. Bake for 20 minutes.
