1 cup olive oil
2 cups fresh basil
½ cup fresh parsley
½ cup pine nuts (Pinnolli nuts)
⅓ cup grated Locatelli cheese
3 peeled cloves of garlic
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:

Place all ingredients in food processor or blender and blend until smooth.

Can store in Mason Jars and can be made and frozen.

Poppy Sam and Mom-Mom Carol use to make this in bulk. To this day, the smell of pesto bring memories of my parents making this amazing staple to making homemade gravy (or sauce).
