5 cucumbers peeled and thinly sliced (8 cups)
2 onions thinly sliced and separated
2 T iodized salt
1 1/2 c granulated sugar
1/2 c vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix cucumbers and onions in large bowl.
2. Add salt and toss.
3. Let stand 2 hours tossing occasionally
4. Drain thoroughly in strainer. Toss.
5. Return to bowl and add sugar. Mix well.
6. Place in fridge, serve cold.

Wonderful flavor. Last a long time and can be frozen for later. My mother-in-law Lovicia was a sweet woman who loved her grandkid's.
