1cup sugar
1cup water
1/8 tsp. Cinnamon
1/8 tsp. Nutmeg
Red food coloring
1 T. Cornstarch
2 T. Margarine or Butter
6 Apples, cored, peeled and halved
Pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Make pie crust.
Divide and roll out.
Place 2 halves of apples on dough circle and cover the apples, stealing with a little water.
Place in baking pan or dish.

Glaze
Combine in saucepan - sugar, water, cinnamon, nutmeg, cornstarch and food coloring.
Bring to a rolling boil.
Add butter and pour syrup over apples, basting several times.
Bake @375º for 35 minutes or until brown and apples are done.
