Spicy Lasagna Recipe

1 lb Jimmy Dean mild sausage or Italian sausage
1 lb Ground Beef
1/8 tsp minced garlic
1 tbsp parsley flakes
2 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 1/2, tsp salt
2 - 1 lb cans of "Italian Style" diced tomatoes
2 - 6 oz cans of tomato paste

Cheese mixture:
16 oz Ricotta cheese
16 oz Cottage cheese
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tbsp parsley flakes
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 lb Mozzarella cheese Shredded

1 box of "no boil" lasagna noodles

Brown meat slowly, drain off grease. Add next 6 ingredients. Simmer uncovered about 30 minutes. Separately combine next 7 ingredients for cheese mixture. Place a layer of lasagna noodles in bottom of a 13x9 pan. Spread with cottage cheese mixture. Add a layer of Mozzarella cheese, then add a layer of meat sauce. Repeat layers one time. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into squares. Serves 8-10.
