7 Lbs. Cucumbers
8 C. Sugar
8 C. 5% White Vinegar
2 tsp. Pickling Spice
1 Jar Alum
small bag of lime

Directions:
Directions:
Add Alum to 2 gallons of water and bring to boil. Cut cucumbers and soak in lime water overnight. Drain and rinse 3 times. Soak in ice water 3 hours. Drain well dip in alum water 1 minute. Bring to boil sugar, vinegar and spices. Add cucumbers and let set overnight. Bring to Boil for 30 minutes. Cut heat off and put into jars.
