8 ounces butter
8 ounces sugar
4 eggs
12 ounces flour
4 tsp baking powder
4 ounces milk
1 whole lemon rind (grated)

Directions:
Directions:
Seperate eggs
Beat egg whites, butter, sugar, and lemon rind with wisk for about 20 minutes
Add egg yolks
Mix flour and baking powder. Add dry mix slowly to wet mixture while wisking
Add milk, as necessary, to maintain a paste like consistency

Grease loaf pan

Add mixture.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
