¼ c butter
¼ c shortening, preferably butter flavor
½ c packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp brandy or I prefer Liquor 43, a vanilla liquor
1½ c all-purpose flour
½ tsp baking soda
1 c white chocolate chips
1 c dried cranberries
¼ tsp kosher salt
Zest of an orange

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt, set aside. Cream the brown sugar, white sugar, butter and shortening. Add egg and liquor. Mix in the flour, baking soda and salt but do not over mix. Add the white chocolate chips, cranberries and orange zest. Drop by spoonfuls onto the parchment lined cookie sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes, cool on a wire rack. Enjoy!
