Ingredients:
Ingredients:
6 Cups Apple Cider
¼ Cup real Maple Syrup
2 Cinnamon Sticks
6 Cloves, whole
6 Allspice berries, whole
1 Orange peel, cut into strips
1 Lemon peel, cut into strips

Directions:
Directions:
1. Pour the apple cider and maple syrup into a large stainless-steel saucepan.
2. Place cinnamon sticks, cloves, allspice, orange peel and lemon peel into the center of a square of cheesecloth. Drop into cider.
3. Place the cider over medium heat for 10 minutes, or until the cider is very hot but not boiling.
4. Remove cider from the heat. Discard the spice bundle and serve.

I’m going to try this recipe and simmer on low for longer so that spice has more of a chance to flavor the cider. I will also probably use more of the spices.
