2 tbsp. chopped onion
½ cup butter, melted
1 cup milk
1 cup half and half
2 cups chicken broth
½ tsp. salt
⅛ tsp. garlic powder
¼ - ½ tsp. dried basil
3 cups chopped fresh broccoli
¼ cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté onion in butter, add flour stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute stirring constantly. Gradually add milk half & half and broth. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thickened and bubbly. Stir in salt, garlic powder and basil. Add broccoli, cover and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes.
