1 stick butter or margarine
2 pounds Vidalia onions, thinly sliced
1 cup sour cream
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Dash or two of hot pepper sauce
Unbaked 9" or 10" pie shell
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat until bubbly; add onions and cook until nice and tender. Combine sour cream, eggs, salt, pepper and pepper sauce. Stir into onions. Pour into shell and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 450* for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 325* and continue baking for another 15 - 20 minutes. Let stand a few minutes before serving.
