Steak & Bean Burritos Recipe

Latochia Bell


1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1-2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
2-3 lbs Stir Fry Beef or Top Round Steak
Seasoning Salt, to season
Pepper, to season
Onion powder, to season
4-5 cups Pinto Beans, cooked
2-3 cans (8 oz each) diced green chiles, do not drain
8-12 flour tortillas

1. Heat oil. Saute minced garlic until lightly browned.
2. Add meat to oil. Cook thoroughly until well browned.
3. Drain & set aside.
4. Make refried beans: In large saucepan, add 1-2 tbsp vegetable oil. Once oil is heated, remove from heat. Add cooked pinto beans into hot oil. Return to heat.
5. Bring beans to a boil. Mash beans.
6. Add cooked steak to refried beans. Add diced green chiles, do not drain.
7. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
8. Add 1/2 cup (or more) burrito mixture to tortilla. Roll.
