1 German chocolate cake mix
⅓ c. of evaporated milk
1 stick of melted butter
1 c. of chopped nuts
1 pkg. of caramels
½ c. of milk
⅓. c. of chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Grease a 9x9 pan.
Mix first four ingredients and put ½ of the mixture into the pan (the mixture will be dry).
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool.
Melt caramels in ½ c. of milk; still until smooth.
Pour that on top of cooled brownies.
Sprinkle ⅓ c. of chocolate chips on top.
On waxed paper press out the other ½ of the brownie mix to size of pan.
Lay that on top of caramel and chocolate chips and bake for another 20 minutes.
