Pumpkin Bread Recipe

2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 15 oz can pumpkin

Preheat oven to 325 Grease the bottoms of 2 bread loaf pans
Combine flour with all of the spices and set the bowl aside
In large electric mixing bowl combine the butter and sugar and beat
Add eggs one at a time beating well, and then add the pumpkin and then mix in the dry ingredients
Put batter in pans and bake for 65 to 75 minutes
Let cool for 10 minutes then loosen around the sides and turn out onto a wire rack to cool
