Ingredients:  
2 c fresh peaches
1 c water
1 c sugar
1 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp butter
½ tsp salt
½ c milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cook peaches, water, sugar. While hot pour over batter made of flour, baking powder, sugar. Rub in butter, salt and milk. Bake in pyrex casserole for 350º until dough comes through to top, tests done and is brown. Serves 6.

Use any fruit:cherries, apricots, berries, or strawberries instead of peaches, if desired.
