4 c brown sugar
1 lb butter
4 tsp soda
2 eggs
5 to 6 c of cake flour (softasilk)
2 tsp cream of tartar
5 tsp vanilla
lb pecans

Directions:
Directions:
after mixed, pat down in pan 1 to 2 inches thick. Freeze hard. Cut while cookies are still frozen. Put on baking sheet. Wash with whole eggs beaten with a little water in eggs. Bake at 370 to 375 .
