1-2 lbs. boneless beef sirloin steak
8 oz. sour cream
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. water
2 tsp. instant beef bouillon granules
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. butter
2 c. hot cooked egg noodles
1 packet of McCormick slow cooker stroganoff mix, along with their listed ingredients

Directions:

Thinly slice meat across the grain into bite sized strips.

In a small bowl, stir together sour cream and flour. Stir in water, bouillon granules and pepper. Set aside.

In a large skillet cook half of the meat to desired doneness. Remove and set aside. Cook rest of meat with mushrooms, onion, and garlic. Drain off fat. Return all meat to skillet.

Stir sour cream mixture into skillet. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for one minute more. If you would like a thinner sauce, add some milk.

Serve over buttered egg noodles.
