2 cups sliced raw potatoes
2 c. chopped celery
1 lb. raw ground beef
1 c. sliced raw sweet onion
1 c. finely cut green pepper
2 c. canned tomatoes
2 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
Slices of green pepper for garnishing

Directions:
Directions:
Place ingredients in order given layers in a greased baking dish; sprinkle with salt and pepper over each layer. Garnish with peppers if desired. Bake at 350º for 2 hours.

This recipe was given to me by the egg lady. They lived on the south edge of town and when she would put the eggs in the cartons her false teeth would click in time with each movement. I went there one afternoon and could smell this delicious casserole cooking.
