2 lb frozen hash browns
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 c milk
1/4 c melted butter
2 c shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 t salt
1/2 t pepper
1/2 c chopped onion
1 pt sour cream

Topping: 2 c crushed corn flakes
1/4 c melted butter

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together and place in 13x9 pan
Mix corn flakes and butter together
Pour over potatoes
Bake at 350º for 45 minutes

This recipe is from one of the Bible study group's cookbooks where I spoke years ago. I believe it was Stephanie Klohr's church at the time! So good, I had to share it! Works beautifully as a side for any meal - breakfast, brunch, or even dinner. Enjoy!
