Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 bottle of mid-priced vodka
teaspoon of peppercorns
cilantro
fresh basil
2-3 cloves of garlic, quartered
2 Roma tomatoes, quartered

Half a cucumber, quartered
teaspoon red pepper flakes

seeded jalapeno, quartered

Directions:
Directions:
Pour your vodka in a large sealable growler bottle (a large reused mayo or pickle jar), add ingredients and seal and refrigerate at least one week. I usually take the veggies and strain the vodka after 1-2 weeks, and drink the mixture with my homemade bloody mary mix, with a dash of Tabasco, A1 Sauce, pickle or olive juice. Experiment with the quantity of veggies to get the flavor just right.

Personal Notes:
Dad and I visited an Irish pub in Branson in 2018, and convinced the bartender to share his Bloody Mary recipe with us. The Bloody Mary he served us had great flavor, and the infusion of garden vegetables really adds depth to your cocktail. I have tried several variations of this recipe and I have not found one that I haven't liked. It will keep its freshness for about a month.
