1 cup brown sugar
1 cup vinegar
1 cup water
2 tsp. pickling spice tied in a cheese cloth
hot beets
Directions:
Directions:
Cook  and  peel  beets.  Bring  brine  to  a  boil.  Put  hot  beets  in sterilized pint jars. Pour brine over beets and seal.

Multiply by 4 for 9 pint jars.
