Ingredients:  
Enough potatoes for how many people you want to feed (For four people, use 6-8 med sized)
1 stick butter or margarine
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Peel potatoes and cut into thick slices. Place in saucepan and cover with COLD water. Add salt and bring to a slow boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cook on low heat until they are fork tender. Stir often to prevent sticking and add more water, as needed. Add butter and allow to melt. Serve warm.
