1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla

mix all dry ingredients together
add wet ingredients to dry until integrated
let batter rest one hour in the fridge before baking
preheat oven to 375
bake cookies for 8-10 minutes or until edges turn brown
