4 cloves garlic in olive oil
2 lb hamburger
2 lb Italian sausage
1 lb. lasagna noodles
3 lbs Mozzarella cheese (slices of Bel Gioisso Mozzarella or grate your own)
3 lbs Romano cheese (grate your own, this is total for entire recipe, so includes 1 cup above)
3 lbs Parmesan cheese (grate your own, this is total for entire recipe, so includes 2 cups above)

For Sauce:
5 small cans Hunts tomato sauce
5 small cans water
1 small can Hunts tomato paste
1 can whole tomatoes
garlic powder
parsley
pepper
(or substitute 2 jars of extra large jars of Prego)

Filling
2 lbs Ricotta
2 eggs
salt
pepper
parsley
2 c. Parmesan cheese
1 c. Romano cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown 4 cloves garlic in olive oil. Remove garlic after nice and brown. Add 2 lb hamburger and 2 lb Italian sausage (half and half) and brown meat. Drain off fat (leave a little grease). Add the sauce ingredients (or the Prego!) and cook slow until thick. Add 2 tbsp oil to a pot water and semi-cook the lasagna noodles. Drain and run under cold water. Hang noodles over pot to drain (don't want water on noodles). Mix the filling ingredients together. Grate the remaining cheeses. To assemble: Cover bottom of pan with sauce. Layer noodles, spoon Ricotta cheese filling, add sliced mozzarella, and grated Romano and Parmesan cheeses. End top layer with noodles and sauce and sprinkle with Romano and Parmesan cheeses. Bake uncovered in 350 oven until bubbly. Turn oven to warm and let rest for about 30 minutes.
