Jewish Apple Cake Recipe

5 tbsp sugar
4 tbsp cinnamon
4 or 5 apples sliced and peeled
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
cup vegetable oil
cup orange juice
2 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder

Combine 5 tbsp sugar, cinnamon and apples set aside.

Beat eggs, oil, sugar.

Add orange juice and vanilla.

Add flour and baking powder and beat.

Pour 1/3 batter in greased pan.

Cover with apple slices.

Add 1/3 more batter.

Cover with rest of apples.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hr and 20 min or until done.

Let stand for 1 hour to cool.
